      Today, I took a stroll down the bridge.  Although it was a bit overcast, the ocean was still sparkling turquoise.  It almost made me want to jump in..except I am a little too terrified of sharks.

      Sometimes I forget how beautiful it is outside!  And what else is beautiful this fall?  The peplum trend!  I am absolutely loving it.  It is both feminine & figure flattering (especially for curvy girls like myself).  I have a passion for trends that just ATTACK the fashion world.  There are peplum shirts..short sleeve, long sleeve, sleeveless, you name it; peplum skirts...which brings Lady Gaga to mind (& I am a huge fan of Lady G. & her cutting-edge style).  There are also peplum dresses...which take me back to Jackie O.  And there most definitely is nothing wrong with a style that is reminiscent of the iconic Chanel muse & former First Lady.

      For this look, I paired a cotton short sleeve peplum top with a pair of denim cut-offs, sandals, & classic black cat-eye sunnies for a casual day of walking around.  I especially like this top due to the back detail.  The zipper adds a quintessential rocker-esque edge that goes well with my torn bottoms.  So, lesson of the day is jump on the peplum trend & you cannot go wrong for a great day or night look.
