Today marks seven months to our wedding! Woohoo! Thinking of the day to come takes me to so many memories of all the awesome date nights we've had that led up to our engagement. The Polish man took me on our 1st official date to Louie's Backyard for my birthday & its now one of our favorite dinner spots for special occasions! When we 1st started dating, at least once a month, date night was spent in Key West. Its only 45 minutes away from our island, yet its like we just "got away" from our normal day to day scenery. And, something about doing that, just takes date night to a new level. We'd try new places, & we always had our favorite stops. Halfshell Raw Bar was & still is definitely one of them! So, when we decided to do our engagement shoot with our good friend/photographer Courtney (Twist of Fate Imagery), we traveled down to Key West to a handful of our favorite spots!
Besides special occasions, we make a point to have a date night at least once a week. Its a moment where we have a chance to enjoy quality time with each other. Our go-to date night in town is always the movie theater, and then we typically meet some friends out for a few cocktails. But, when we go out of town, date night switches up. It becomes a new adventure to add to our memories. We love trying new places & adding some fun by renting a car.
